Totalt transporterades 90,2 miljoner ton gods. Exporten \u00f6kade med 11 % och uppgick till 45,2 miljoner ton. Importen minskade med 1 % till 45,0 miljoner ton. Senast en betydande \u00f6kning i sj\u00f6transporternas volym observerades var 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Inom utrikes sj\u00f6fart var de mest transporterade varugrupperna styckegods, oljeprodukter och r\u00e5olja, vilka tillsammans utg\u00f6r 44 % av alla transporter. De mest importerade varorna var r\u00e5olja, styckegods samt malmer och koncentrat, och de mest exporterade var oljeprodukter, styckegods och papper. J\u00e4mf\u00f6rt med 2024 skedde de st\u00f6rsta f\u00f6r\u00e4ndringarna i importen i r\u00e5oljeimporten, som \u00f6kade med 19 %, och i importen av r\u00e5virke, som minskade med 22 %. De st\u00f6rsta f\u00f6r\u00e4ndringarna i exporten skedde i exporten av oljeprodukter, som \u00f6kade med 25 %, och i exporten av g\u00f6dselmedel, som \u00f6kade med 33 %.<\/p>\n<p>M\u00e4tt i godsm\u00e4ngder var den st\u00f6rsta hamnen \u00e5r 2025 Sk\u00f6ldvik, genom vilken 22,5 miljoner ton gods transporterades, varav st\u00f6rsta delen bestod av r\u00e5olja och oljeprodukter. Av exportvarorna gick 54 % till hamnar i \u00d6stersj\u00f6omr\u00e5det och 14 % utanf\u00f6r Europa. Sammanlagt var sj\u00f6transporten mellan Finland och Sverige st\u00f6rst \u00e5r 2025, totalt 14,2 miljoner ton. Mest gods importerades fr\u00e5n Norge, 10,3 miljoner ton, och mest exporterades till Tyskland, 8,2 miljoner ton.<\/p>\n<p>Transportarbetet inom utrikes sj\u00f6fart uppgick \u00e5r 2025 till totalt 226 miljarder tonkilometer. Exportens transportarbetet var 120 miljarder tonkilometer och importens 106 miljarder tonkilometer. Transportarbetet \u00f6kade med 7 % f\u00f6r exporten och med 3 % f\u00f6r importen j\u00e4mf\u00f6rt med 2024. F\u00f6r\u00e4ndringar i import- och exportl\u00e4nder samt transportvolymer \u00e5terspeglas direkt i transportarbetet.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c5r 2025 \u00f6kade antalet passagerare i utrikes sj\u00f6fart med 2 % j\u00e4mf\u00f6rt med 2024. Totalt transporterades 13,9 miljoner passagerare. Av passagerarna reste 96 % p\u00e5 rutter till Estland och Sverige. Mellan Finland och Estland reste 7,5 miljoner passagerare och mellan Finland och Sverige 5,8 miljoner.
