Ig\u00e5r (31.7.2019) publicerade Kuluttaja tidningen en omfattande artikel, som var en f\u00f6rtj\u00e4nt titt p\u00e5 utsl\u00e4pp fr\u00e5n m\u00e5nga vinklar. Tyv\u00e4rr var artikelns rubrik vilseledande, d\u00e5 den h\u00e4vdade att en sj\u00f6resa \u00e4r v\u00e4rre \u00e4n sitt rykte, och att en kryssning till Sverige kunde ha st\u00f6rre utsl\u00e4pp \u00e4n samma flygresa.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>I Kuluttaja tidningens artikel konstateras med r\u00e4tta, att det inte \u00e4r enkelt att j\u00e4mf\u00f6ra utsl\u00e4pp mellan olika trafikformer. D\u00e5 man j\u00e4mf\u00f6r utsl\u00e4pp, \u00e4r det s\u00e4rskilt viktigt d\u00e5 det g\u00e4ller sj\u00f6fart att ta h\u00e4nsyn till att passagerarbilf\u00e4rjorna transporterar en betydande del av Finlands utrikeshandels transporter. Dessutom b\u00f6r det beaktas, att en sj\u00f6resa med \u00f6vernattning ocks\u00e5 inneh\u00e5ller utsl\u00e4ppen som uppst\u00e5r av boende ombord. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Rubriken och grafiken som i artikeln j\u00e4mf\u00f6r utsl\u00e4ppsm\u00e4ngderna mellan flyg och sj\u00f6trafik, ger en vilseledande bild av situationen. N\u00e4r det g\u00e4ller sj\u00f6trafik har det i j\u00e4mf\u00f6relsen anv\u00e4nds siffror fr\u00e5n Lipasto -ber\u00e4kningssystemet, som baseras p\u00e5 modellering och p\u00e5 estimat av sj\u00f6trafikens br\u00e4nslef\u00f6rbrukning. I Lipasto systemet har m\u00e4ngden utsl\u00e4pp allokerats till passagerare och frakt enligt area.<\/p>\n<p>D\u00e5 det g\u00e4ller flygtrafik, har det i j\u00e4mf\u00f6relsen d\u00e4remot anv\u00e4nts siffror fr\u00e5n den Internationella civila luftfartsorganisationen (ICAO), som baseras p\u00e5 f\u00f6rverkligad br\u00e4nslef\u00f6rbrukning, och vidare p\u00e5 allokering enligt passagerarnas och fraktens vikt.<\/p>\n<p>D\u00e5 man j\u00e4mf\u00f6r utsl\u00e4pp mellan olika trafikslag, \u00e4r det viktigt att man ocks\u00e5 g\u00e4llande sj\u00f6trafiken anv\u00e4nder siffror som grundar sig p\u00e5 samma metod, dvs. som grundar sig p\u00e5 tyngd.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nya verifierade utsl\u00e4ppsuppgifter finns tillg\u00e4ngliga<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I juli publicerades f\u00f6r f\u00f6rsta g\u00e5ngen uppgifter g\u00e4llande sj\u00f6trafikens utsl\u00e4pp p\u00e5 EU-omr\u00e5det, som rapporterats och verifierats av opartiska ratinginstitut som en del av sj\u00f6fartens utsl\u00e4ppsuppf\u00f6ljningssystem. N\u00e4r man j\u00e4mf\u00f6r utsl\u00e4pp mellan olika enheter eller trafikslag, \u00e4r det essentiellt att man anv\u00e4nder siffror som grundar sig p\u00e5 samma metod.<\/p>\n<p><strong>De rapporterade siffrorna ber\u00e4ttar nul\u00e4get<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>D\u00e5 sj\u00f6trafikens utsl\u00e4pp ber\u00e4knas enligt f\u00f6rverkligade och verifierade br\u00e4nslef\u00f6rbrukningssiffror, och allokeringen mellan passagerare och frakt g\u00f6rs enligt tyngd, kan det konstateras att sj\u00f6resandet \u00e4r ett milj\u00f6v\u00e4nligt alternativ. Till exempel \u00e5ret 2018 var koldioxidavtrycket per passagerare p\u00e5 rutten<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Helsingfors \u2013 Stockholm 20-24 kg \/passagerare (flyg enligt ICAO 41-46 kg \/passagerare)<\/li>\n<li>Helsingfors-Travem\u00fcnde 69-79 kg \/passagerare (flyg enligt ICAO 142 kg \/passagerare)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Klimatf\u00f6r\u00e4ndringen tacklas med samarbete<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bek\u00e4mpning av klimatf\u00f6r\u00e4ndringen \u00e4r en av de st\u00f6rsta globala utmaningarna.
