Rederi Ab Nathalie is expanding!
18. September 2018
RABN, Rederi Ab Nathalie has acquired mv RMS Ruhrort. The vessel has been taken over in Tallinn on late afternoon on Friday 14th September. Vessel will stay at shipyard in Tallinn for class renewal before she will enter to traffic.
Vessel will be renamed to RMS CARELIE and she will fly Finnish flag with home port Mariehamn. Crew will be mainly Finnish.
At same time we are pleased to announce that we have reached long term time-charter agreement with Rhenus Maritime Services, which is part of Rhenus group. Vessel will enter to time-charter as soon as class renewal has been passed.
This purchase and time-charter agreement means that mv RMS CARELIE will be first in many years to start regular sailings as Fin-flagged vessel to and from Saimaa to European ports. We see this agreement as important strategic step and we are glad to become part of Saimaa trade in form of tonnage provider.
