ESL Shipping achieves Silver medal in its first EcoVadis assessment

ESL Shipping has achieved a Silver medal in EcoVadis sustainability performance assessment. Overall, the company ranked in the top eight per cent of the companies in our industry and in the top six per cent when it comes to the environment.

ESL Shipping’s aim is to be a forerunner in sustainability and having an external organisation assessing our performance will help us to take the next steps to improve our performance further.

EcoVadis is the world’s largest provider of business sustainability ratings with over 100,000 rated companies. The comprehensive assessment takes into account environment, labour & human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement thus providing a comprehensive picture of a company’s sustainability performance.
